PURPOSE:To surely suppress the eluted amount of lead at regulation value or below by blending water-soluble sulfate, powdery sulfur and a sulfur- containing compound with high alkaline dust collection ash containing lead at high concentration, adding water to the mixture and solidifying it. CONSTITUTION:In the case of blasting slaked lime into waste gas generated from a mechanical furnace for incinerating municipal waste and collecting it as dust in an electrostatic precipitator, solidifying and treating the obtained high alkaline dust collection ash containing lead at high concentration, water-soluble sulfate, powdery sulfur and a sulfurcontaining compound and furthermore preferably hydraulic cement are blended with the dust collection ash. Water is added to the mixture and it is solidified. Ferrous sulfate, aluminum sulfate or the like is used as water-soluble sulfate and the blending amount thereof is regulated to 5-30 pts.wt. for 100 pts.wt. of dust collection ash. Further, thiourea, diphenylthiourea or the like, is used as the sulfur-containing compound and the blending amount thereof is regulated to 0.5-5 pts.wt. |
