The reproduction unit comprises a means (6) picking up information recorded in a disk, a means (5) moving the pick-up means along the disk, a means (10) recording the reproduced information, and a system control part controlling the record means to reproduce information recorded in the record means during the time from reproducing the back side of the disk to reproducing the front side of the disk. The unit reproduces the information on both the sides of a disk.
