<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a high-quality image pickup signal by reducing a moire component in a luminance signal caused by a chrominance carrier in the image pickup signal generated by the change of a color temperature in the illumination light of an image pickup object. CONSTITUTION:In this image pickup device provided with an image pickup element 5 equipped with a color separation filter, an A/D converter 19 for A/D converting the image pickup signal, and processing means (processing circuit 100) for forming video signals by executing a digital signal processing to the A/D converted signal, a color temperature detecting means is provided to form a color temperature signal expressing the color temperature of the image pickup object while using a part of the image pickup signals and based on this color temperature signal, data for correcting a level change at every pixel output caused by the change of the color temperature are generated, distributed and applied to plural D/A converters 30-33 corresponding to colors to be separated. The outputs of these D/A converters 30-33 are switched by a switching means 34 corresponding to the color separation filter of the relevant image pickup element and applied to the A/D converter 19 as a conversion reference voltage input, and the level change at every pixel output caused by the change of the color temperature is corrected.</p> |
