<p>PURPOSE:To use a reproduction equalizing system with the same characteristic as that in the normal reproduction by making the relative speed between a recording medium at the vari-speed reproduction and a reproduction head read ing a recording signal the same and to detect the recorded signal and to facili tate the vari-speed reproduction control. CONSTITUTION:A transmission rate of a reproduction signal is detected by the frequency of a recovered clock being an output of a reproduction clock extraction PLL system 7 at the vari-speed reproduction in which a magnetic tape 2 with a reproduced signal recorded thereon is carried at a speed different from that in the normal reproduction mode with the reproduction device reproducing the signal in plural different transmission rates. A clock frequency division system 8 controls the relative speed between the magnetic tape 2 and the reproduction heads HA, HB reading the recorded signal in response to the transmission rate so that the relative speed is substantially the same as that in the normal reproduction. Thus, the reproduction equalizing system 5 of the same characteristic as that in the normal reproduction is used.</p> |
