摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To accelerate a removal of a radioactive nuclide from a titanium iron material by a method wherein the titanium iron material is leaching with an acid containing added fluolite. CONSTITUTION: When a titanium iron material is leached with an acid in the existence of fluolite, a removal of a radioactive nuclide from the titanium iron material is greatly enhanced. In that case, the conditions such as acid concentration are selected so that titanium, an acid and fluolite are not substantially melted from a material. Further, it is desired that a leached radioactive nuclide is isolated by filtering, cyclone isolation or the like from the titanium iron material, and an isolation object nuclide is a thorium or uranium radioactive nuclide, preferably. The titanium iron material is ilmenite modified ilmenite or the like, preferably. As for an acid, a mineral acid is generally preferable, and among others, sulfuric acid is most preferable. By this method a removal of the radioactive nuclide from the titanium iron material can be accelerated.</p>
