MANUFACTURE OF BISMUTH GROUP OXIDE SUPERCONDUCTOR

摘要

PURPOSE:To manufacture bismuth group oxide superconductor excellent in characteristic by suppressing generation of an impurity phase. CONSTITUTION:(Bi+Pb)2/Sr2CaCu2Oy powder having a grain diameter, alpha, of (1 to 20)mum and powder of the other oxide or the like having a grain diameter, betaof 0.1 to 10mum are blended under a condition alpha>beta and in the mol ratio (Bi+ Pb):Sr:Ca:Cu=2:2:2:3, and this mixed powder is filled in an Ag tube for being processed followed by heat treatment so as to manufacture a superconductive tape. This superconductive tape shows critical current density (1.3 to 4.0)X10<4>/cm<2>.
