Device for transporting, positioning and/or moving a load of the submarine vehicle, characterised in that it comprises: - at least one heavy cable (14), laid on the seabed, each of the ends (15-16) of which is moored or anchored on the seabed so as to provide a horizontal tension; and - a system of groove pulleys (12) fixed on the said load or vehicle, through which the heavy cable passes, thus being raised, the arrangement being such that the buoyancy of the load or of the vehicle is equal to the weight of the cable raised in order to hold the vehicle or the load at the desired submersion depth, this vehicle or this load being capable of being pulled parallel to the seabed so that the cable, fixed with respect to the seabed, moves with respect to the moving vehicle. <IMAGE>
