- The invention relates to a wire-guidance device for automotive steering-wheeled vehicles. - The subject of the invention is a wire-guidance device for auomotive steering-wheeled vehicles, comprising, a servocontrol device for steering the vehicle (1), installed on the latter and comprising a sensor (14) mounted so as to sense the magnetic field of the guidance wire (15) and a means capable of acting on the steering gear (steered wheels) (4) of the vehicle with a view to correcting its course, characterised in that the said means capable of acting on the said steering gear consists of an easily removable device comprising a reduction motor set (9), means (10) locked to the said set allowing the locking and unlocking of the output shaft of the reduction motor relative to the steering wheel (5) of the vehicle and means (11) capable of immobilising the said reduction motor set (9) with respect to the frame or some other fixed bearing point of the vehicle. - Application to the automatic piloting of automotive steering-wheeled vehicles. <IMAGE>
