PURPOSE:To forcibly insert a male housing into the female housings of various connectors and to extract the male housing from the female housings by means of a jig. CONSTITUTION:One ends of the first operating arm 43 and the second operating arm 44 of a jig 41 are loked to first locking parts 19a, 28. The other ends of the first operating arm 43 and the second operating arm 44 are locked to the second locking parts 11a, 27. Next, the locking intervals between the first and the second locking parts 19a, 28, 11a, 27 of the first operating arm 43 and the second operating arm 44 are narrowed. The result automatically and forcibly inserts the male housing 11 in the female housing 19. Therefore, even if the predetermined inserting force and extracting force of the male housing are high to the female housing, the male housing can be inserted in and extracted from the female housing. |
