PURPOSE:To obtain the speech recognition device which is reduced in power consumption and easy to use. CONSTITUTION:When a speaker voices words in front of a microphone 20, the microphone 20 converts an input voice SO into a voice signal S1. A voice section detection part 21 outputs a start detection signal S2 to a radio transmission part 22 when detecting the head of the voice signal S1 and an tail detection signal S3 to the radio transmission part 22 when detecting the tail end of the voice signal S1. The radio transmission part 22 sends only a signal S4 in the voice section from the head to the tail by radio to a reception system 3. A speech recognition part 32 recognizes the input voice SO to the microphone 20 from the voice signal S4 sent from the transmission system 2. Consequently, only the signal S4 in the voice section is sent without the switching operation of a switch, etc., so unnecessary power consumption is reducible and the device becomes easy to use. |
