PURPOSE:To simplify the step of separating a rear surface electrode in a solar cell manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION:A thin film 6 made of opaque energy absorber is formed on a rear surface electrode 5 formed on a photoelectric conversion layer 4. Its part is selectively removed by irradiating with an energy beam to form a groove 7. By using a part which is not removed as a mask, the electrode 5 is selectively etched to divide it into elements each having a desired area, thereby obtaining an electric connection. |
