PURPOSE:To allow the user to edit data with a margin indoors at a convenient time without caring about a residual battery capacity of a cordless telephone slave set by devising data edited by a master set to be sent/received freely between the slave set and the master set. CONSTITUTION:In the case of editing data inputted to a cordless telephone slave set 40, at first the user connects the cordless telephone slave set 40 to a cordless telephone master set 60. Then an operation section 44 in the slave set 40 is used to operate a button used to transfer data to the master set 60. The data are sent to the master set 60 via an input output section 52 and an electrode C53 and the data inputted to the master set are sent to a data storage section 72 via an electrode C74 and a data input output section 73. Then the user uses an operation section 70 to call the data for a data processing section 71 and edits the data while confirming the result on a display section 69. The data whose edit is finished are stored again in the data storage section 72.
