PURPOSE:To sharply shorten the time required in the work of stripping the terminal of a multiwire integrated insulated trolley cable. CONSTITUTION:A sheath cutter is composed of a pair of handles 1, a pair of frames 2 and 3, which open interlocking with these handles 1, a longitudinally cutting edge 5, which is provided at the end of one side of these frames 2 and 3 in a pair, a conductor butting member 6, which is provide at the end of the other side of the frames 2 and 3, and an end face butting member 7, which is provided on one side of the frames 2 and 3 and decides the dimension of the exfoliation of an insulating cover by a longitudinally cutting edge 5. Hereby, it becomes possible to process the terminal easily with a sheath cutter alone. |
