<p>PURPOSE:To display a desired window at the front part of a display screen in a window system with the instruction of a mouse menu or a command menu. CONSTITUTION:A computer contains a window display device, a mouse which points the coordinates, and a keyboard which inputs the commands, etc. In such a computer plural files storing the window IDs, the window names, and the coupled addresses form a ringed file on a window table 26 shown in figure (a). Then plural window names (extracted menu items 27) are selected out of the table 26 with the instruction of a mouse menu 24 (or a command menu) and then displayed on a display screen 21 as shown in figure (b). Then a desired window 22C is displayed at the forefron part of the display screen 21 by the mouse as shown in figure (d).</p> |
