The water/gas meter clearly displaying charges to a consumer, comprises a detecting section (1) for detecting a consumed amount by an impeller (12) mounted in gas/water passage; A/D converter (2) for converting output signals from the section (1); micro processor (3) having clearing section (6) having built-in program for converting the consumed amount to a charge; counting section (4) for calculating accumulation value from the output; displaying section (5) for displaying the charge.
