A tap assembly includes a tap (10), an inner sleeve (20), an intermediate sleeve (40), and an outer sleeve (90). A projection (12) and a plurality of screw threads (13) are formed on the rear part of the tap. Three arched projections (21) are located on the outer periphery of the inner sleeve. Three cavities (24) separate the arched projections, respectively. A front part of a washer (30) is inserted into a rear part of the inner sleeve. An outer flange (22) is located on the outer surface of each cavity, respectively. An inner flange is located on the inner surface of each cavity, respectively. The inner pipe (70) is connected to the outer pipe (60). An inner stop flange is located on the inner surface of the intermediate sleeve. An O-ring is located in the intermediate sleeve. A valve body is located in the inner sleeve. The valve body is confined (contained) by the O-ring and the washer. <IMAGE>
