PURPOSE:To minimize the size of a drive transmission mechanism for driving an ultrasonic transducer and improve moving ability in a reactor vessel, driving accuracy, electrical, mechanical and radiation resistance capability of the coil and indication accuracy of the image by ultrasonic wave. CONSTITUTION:Below a shield plug 1, a drive mechanism main body 40 consisting of a fixed body 42 and a rotating body 43 are hung. In the fixed body 42, a rotation motor 46 containing a position detector is fixed. In the rotating body 43, a scanning motor 50 containing a position detector and an inclination control motor 51 are provided. Also, an arm 33 driven by the scanning motor 50 and inclination control motor 51 are provided. On the arm 33, an ultrasonic transducer 35 is fixed. The rotation body 43 is driven in rotation by the rotation motor 46. |
