发明名称 COLLIMATOR LENS AND LIGHT SOURCE DEVICE USING THE SAME
摘要 PURPOSE:To collimate and extract light beams, which are projected from a wavelength converting element at different angles of projection and have plural kinds of wavelength, in common. CONSTITUTION:Fundamental waves L1 and L2 from semiconductor laser light sources 1 and 2 are multiplexed by a half-mirror 5, converged by a condenser lens 6, and made incident on the core 7A of the optical fiber type wavelength converting element 7. The wavelength converting element 7 projects 2nd higher harmonics L11 and L12 and the sum frequency L13 of the fundamental waves L1 and L2 as converted light beams. Those converted light beams have axially symmetrical conic wave fronts and are projected at the different angles of projection from the projection end surface 7b of the wavelength converting element 7. The respective converted light beams from the wavelength converting element 7 are collimated in common by a collimator lens 10. This collimator lens 10 has its vertical angle 2a and the wavelength variance of the refractive indexes of constituent elements set corresponding to the propagation directions and wavelengths of the respective converted light beams.
