<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and to facilitate the assembly and also to attain superiority of the mechanism by providing one mode plate capable of controlling both positioning of a head and positioning of a pinch roller pressing changeover member without interference with each other. CONSTITUTION:The mode plate 5 for controlling operation relative to a head positioning mode for magnetic tape traveling and stopping, etc., is driven by a moving motor at the time of a mode changeover. When the tape is changed in its traveling direction, the movement of the mode plate is interlocked with a play link 8, while this play link 8 with a change link 4. By turning the change link 4, a pinch roller case 12 held under pressing by a capstan 15 before changing the traveling directions is controlled to move into a releasing position backward against energizing force of a pressing spring 14. Then, the pinch roller case 12 controlled in the releasing position is pressingly held by the capstan 15.</p> |
