PURPOSE:To facilitate the editing operation by providing a means which stores the display position of data in the preceding operation based on the processing indicating the division of operation. CONSTITUTION:An input means 1, a display means 4, a display position storage means 3, and an editing means 2 are provided. The position where a cursor should be displayed is stored in the display position storage means 3 based on the display position of an inputted and edited character string at each time of a prescribed processing of, for example, settling. In this case, editing like copy or movement is performed without designation of the copy or movement destination based on the stored cursor position by the editing means 2 at the time of copying or moving the character string. Consequently, the editing operation is facilitated, and efficient and flexible editing is possible. |
