PURPOSE:To easily convert a KANJI (Chinese character) mixed charater-string inputted by handwriting to a KANJI. CONSTITUTION:In a dictionary table stored in a dictionary memory 9, a KANJI (Chinese character) idiom having a meaning is registered (stored) as a KANJI character-string. Also, for instance, to a KANJI idiom 'do-shil' (comrade), (same) is divided into cases of a KANJI 'do' and a KANA (Japanese syllabary) (reading) 'do' as its conversion pair, 'shi' (mind) is divided into cases of a KANJI 'shi' and a KANA (reading) 'shi' and four reading character-strings 'do-shil' (KANA), 'do-shi' (KANA and KANJI, 'do-shi' (KANJI and KANA), and 'do-shi' (KANJI) obtained by combining the KANJI 'do' and the KANA 'do', and the KANJI 'shi' and the KANA 'shi' are registered. |
