PURPOSE:To facilitate selection of a switch function by providing a knob in a switch gear for use in electronic equipment, and making functions differ by means of rotation of the knob, and enabling selection of the functions by color. CONSTITUTION:A switch case C comprises a right case 2 and a left case 1 and an opening is provided in the upper surface of the abutting portion of the cases 2, 1 and the upper portion of a rotary disk which serves as a knob is projected therefrom. Blue 4 and red 5 printed indications are provided on both sides of the knob 3 while being located on the respective upper surfaces of the cases 1, 2 and the upper half and the lower half of the knob 3 are painted red and blue, respectively, and the red side is exposed when the switch gear is disconnected. When the knob 3 is rotated by figners in the V-direction against energization of a spring, a first switch is turned on, while when the knob 3 is rotated in the W-direction a second switch is turned on and when the knob 3 is released both of the switches are returned to their neutral positions to turn off both of the switches. The knob 3 is rotated at the application of more than a fixed force so as to turn the color to blue and then a third switch is turned on when the knob 3 is rotated in the X-direction, while when the knob 3 is rotated in the Y-direction a fourth switch is turned on. |
