The subject of the present invention is a device for filling boxes with fragile objects. One of the main applications of the invention is the automatic continuous filling of small boxes or packing cartons for fragile objects such as fruit or vegetables. The device, according to the invention, for filling boxes (1) supplied individually by a conveyor (3) with fragile objects (2) supplied by a conveyor (4) located above the first one, includes, at the end of the latter, a plane which is inclined below the horizontal and placed so that it constitutes an extension of the transport surface of the conveyor (4). This inclined plane consists of a rigid part (5) extending downwards as far as a height "h" above the conveyor (3), and greater than that of the boxes (1) which it transports, and of a flexible part (6) linked to the preceding one and which extends at least as far as the bottom of the said boxes (12) in the position when filling is starting. <IMAGE>
