PURPOSE:To obtain the pitch conversion device which has even a vibrato function with relatively simple circuit constitution in addition to variation in pitch shift quantity. CONSTITUTION:An input speech signal IN which is stored as a digital signal in a memory 1 is read out of the memory 1 at a read speed based upon a pitch control signal PC under the control of a read address controller 5 and this read speech signal is supplied to a digital filter 11 to correct a sampling frequency; and the speech signal is shifted and the shift quantity is varied with time to obtain vibrato effect. |
