PURPOSE:To provide an image display device which can easily and accurately designate the center position where an image is magnified. CONSTITUTION:A main control part 1 gives the image data read out of a memory 6 to a display control part 3 in order to display the images on a display 2. Then an operator presses the surface of a touch panel 4 corresponding to the magnifying center point of the image shown on the display 2. Thus a touch panel control part 5 detects the pressed position and informs the part 1 of this position. The part 1 gives the pressed position to an image magnifying part 7 as a magnifying center point. Then the part 7 magnifies the image data stored in the memory 6 centering on the given center point and then gives the magnified image data to the part 3. Thus the image magnified around the center point is displayed on the display 2. |
