PURPOSE:To obtain a right-left symmetrical membership function without any adjustment. CONSTITUTION:When a reference voltage VL1 and an input voltage VIN are supplied to a maximum value arithmetic circuit Q101, the maximum value arithmetic circuit generates an output voltage which is equal to VL1 when lower than VL1 and equal to VIN when higher than VL1. When a reference voltage VL2 and the input voltage VIN are supplied to a minimum value arithmetic circuit, an output voltage which is equal to VIN when lower than VL2 and equal to VL2 when higher than VL2 is obtained. When the output Vi1 of the maximum value arithmetic circuit Q101 and the output Vi2 of the minimum value arithmetic circuit Q102 are supplied to a differential amplifying circuit Q107, the differential amplifying circuit Q107 outputs a trapezoidal membership function which is proportional to the difference Vi2-Vi1 between the outputs of both the arithmetic circuits. Both sides of the membership function has the same tilt corresponding to the parameter of the one differential amplifying circuit, so that the right-left symmetrical membership function can be obtained without any adjustment. |
