The turbo-generator makes it possible to provide electrical energy from a non-regulated flow of fluid circulating in a pipeline. It is made up of a monobloc assembly comprising a turbine (10B), the disc (wheel) (13) of which is rotationally secured to the rotor (14) of a generator (alternator) (10A). The rotor (14) is preferably one with permanent magnets and is deep within a cooling circuit using oil. The turbo-generator operates without regulation. Application to recharging batteries for powering electronics on board remote off-stroke oil platforms. <IMAGE>
