PURPOSE:To avoid an operating malfunction due to oil stain of a movable component for altering a position of a hood. CONSTITUTION:The range hood fan comprises a body 1 assembled with an exhaust blower 2, and a duct 7 connected at its upper end to a suction port of the blower 2 of the body 1 and opened at its lower end in a hood state as a suction port 3 for collecting oil smoke, etc. The duct 7 is so provided at the body 1 as to be vertically extensible and contractible. A high performance filter 14 is provided at a front stage from the movable part of the duct 7 in an air flow passage for forming the duct 7. Oil droplet, soot contained in the contaminated air are collected by the filter, and oil stain impairing an operation of the part is not deposited to the movable part of the duct. |
