PURPOSE:To surely set/reset the flag of a flag register in the digital signal processor(DSP) without competing an external high-order processor and an internal microprogram each other. CONSTITUTION:A microprogram storing means 32 stores the microprogram specifying the function of the DSP, namely, the algorithm. A coefficient storing means 34 stores a coefficient used for executing the microprogram. A flag storing means stores the flag instructing the branch, etc., of the microprogram. Therefore, a coefficient utilizing means 33 executes a digital signal arithmetic processing corresponding to the algorithm specified by the microprogram and the flag while utilizing the coefficient. A flag control means controls timing for inputs to the flag storing means so as not to compete the flag inputted from the external processor and the set signals or reset signals outputted from the coefficient utilizing means 33 in the middle of the digital signal arithmetic processing each other. |
