PURPOSE:To eliminate the inconvenience in performance by preventing a specific musical sound control parameter which need not be initialized from being initialized when various musical sound control parameters such as a part mute parameter and a timbre parameter are initialized. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a storage means 16a stored with plural musical sound control parameters, a parameter initializing means which initializes the values of the parameters stored in the storage means 16a to specific values according to an initialization signal for initializing those musical sound control parameters, an initialization inhibition specifying means 26 which specifies the inhibition of initialization as to the specific parameters not to be initialized among the parameters stored in the storage means 16a, and an initialization inhibiting means which controls the parameter initializing means so that when the specific parameters is inhibited by the initialization inhibition specifying means 26 from being initialized, the specific parameter is not initialized according to the initialization signal. |
