In a loading station for automatic rear-end loading and unloading of trucks on trailers and containers with pallets (3) by means of driverless fork-lift loading machine (4) which transports the pallets (3) over at least one platform (5) that travels along a loading ramp, a lifting and moving device (7) is arranged on the platform (5) and co-operates with the loading machine (4) in order to lift, displace, or turn it. A transport support (5g) arranged on the side of the platform (5) facing the vehicle (1) or container to be loaded can be placed beside the edge of the vehicle or container and is provided in a manner known per se with means for lowering under load the loading surface of the truck or trailer. The outer forks (4a) of the loading machine (4) can be raised above the level of the inner forks (4b). |
