The invention relates to a stand intended for displaying consumable objects. This stand I is noteworthy in that it consists of a thin bundle of rigid optical fibres 200 whose upper ends are free and terminate on plates 300 made of a translucent material, forming supports for the objects to be displayed, and whose lower ends, joined on a base 100 forming a foot, are arranged opposite a device 110 for producing coloured light. The invention also relates to an electrooptical device for producing coloured light. Applications: luminous stands for consumable objects, such as pastries or cakes. <IMAGE>
