PURPOSE:To reduce the volume of noise which is nuisance to the neighbourhood, to save an installation space and to improve serviceability by embedding in the ground noise sources of a separation type outdoor unit. CONSTITUTION:A body 1 is provided with a compressor chamber 2 which, housing noise sources such as a compressor 5, a fan 12, electric accessories 14, is embedded in the ground. Thus the volume of noise which is nuisance to the neighbourhood is reduced. Further, an installation space can be saved. In addition, the compressor chamber 2 can be separated from a heat exchanger 3, and thus serviceability can be improved. |
