PURPOSE:To stabilize the image quality by economically realize the elimination of deterioration of the image quality due to fluctuation of resistance value of recording paper. CONSTITUTION:An image forming device is provided with an electric potential sensor 109 for measuring electric potential after transfer-treatment of the surface of a photoreceptor, a moisture sensor 113 for measuring the moisture of a recording paper, a primary correcting means 511 for determining the change in resistance value of the recording paper from the measured value of the moisture sensor 113 and thereby correcting the transferring condition, a secondary correcting means 512 for detecting initial recovery of the resistance value of the recording paper from the measured value on the electric potential sensor 109 and again correcting the transferring condition, and a transfer current control circuit 505 for controlling output value of a transferring means based on output signals from the primary correcting means 511 or/and the secondary correcting means 512. |
