PURPOSE:To provide structure which can reliably prevent miss fitting in the case of fitting a flat multi-conductor cable to a connector mounted on base, and a connector being used therefor. CONSTITUTION:A flat multi-conductor cable 2 is provided for use by backing a reinforcing plate 12 to an bare conductor 11 which is exposed by separating a cover at the point of each covered conductor, and also a connector is provided for use while said connector being provided with reinforcing plate fitting cavity 13 with its width wider than thickness of the reinforcing plate itself and narrower than the thickness of the exposed conductor plus that of the reinforcing plate. The reinforcing plate abuts to a bulkhead 8 so as to prevent fitting when the flat multi-conductor cable fits in wrong direction. |
