<p>PURPOSE:To improve the environmental stability of the toner of the two- component developer, and prevent the scattering inside of a machine by specifying the saturation magnetization of the toner, and specifying a ratio of the saturation magnetization of a carrier and the saturation magnetization of the toner. CONSTITUTION:Saturation magnetization Tsigmas of the toner is specified at 3-15emu/g. When Tsigmas is less than 3emu/g, a carrier holes the toner sufficiently to prevent the control, and the image quality is changed large in response to a change of the environment, and the splash inside of a machine is generated. On the other hand, when Tsigmas exceeds 15emu/g, the toner is hard to be separated from the carrier to lower the image density. A ration of the saturation magnetization (Csigmas) of the carrier and Tsigmas is specified in a range of Csigmas/Tsigmas=25-4. When this ratio is too large, the toner is not held by the surface of the carrier sufficiently to change the image quality in response to a change of the environment and generate the scattering inside of a machine. On the other hand, when this ratio is too small, it is hard to exhibit the image density.</p> |
