摘要 PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a hardware by selecting a cardinal number corresponding to a recognition object by a selecting signal from the outside, executing a target recognizing operation, and also, using jointly an arithmetic block which becomes a fundamental unit. CONSTITUTION:The cardinal number extending circuit of a fuzzy neuron provided with (n) pieces of arithmetic blocks in which a cardinal number (k) corresponds to (k), 2k, 4k,...2<n-1>X(k) (n=1, 2,...), in the fuzzy neuron, and a switch 50 for selecting one of the extended cardinal numbers by an external selecting signal, and a fuzzy neuron hardware provided with a cardinal extended block constituted of a means for unifying fundamental blocks corresponding to the minimum cardinal number like a tournament, and outputting an arithmetic value at every unified stage, in the fuzzy neuron are obtained.
