Assembly to reduce organic waste material, through thermophilic micro-organisms, has a lowered unperforated base (6) at the filling zone of the trough (1) in relation to the horizontal perforated base (6b). An angled base (6a) links the initial base level (6) with the higher horizontal base (6b). The channel acts as a collection gutter for the liq. flowing back into the mixing zone where it collects. USE/ADVANTAGE - The assembly is to reduce organic waste to compost, such as solid vegetable waste, animal solid and liquid manure and the like. The assembly increases bacterial development for aerobic decomposition from an initial degrading phase, to a conversion phase and then a final compsn. phase, with improved bacteria development conditions in the separate decomposition stages.
