Safety position switch e.g. for removing protective covering

The switch has a door monitoring system and a door locking system arranged in a long axis of the safety position switch. A partition (2) divides the housing internal space into two regions to achieve a mechanical decoupling of both systems.Each region has its own mains supply which passes through cableinserting points (5) on one of the long sides (7). A tilting and removable lid (10) covers the entire housing internal space in the closed state. The lid has hooks (11,11a) which engage in grooves (12,12a) of the housing outer wall (8).
