The capacitive angle encoder contains a stator with at least two stator plates (4,6,8,10) at a distance apart, Rotor plates (5,7,9) are rotatably arranged between the stator plates and electrically conducting coatings (11-14) on the facing surfaces of the plates forming capacitances.
