The Lambda probe contains a ceramic plate (8) with conducting tracks which are to be contacted, is mounted in a ceramic body consisting of two mirror image half shells (3,4) and has contact elements (5) for contacting the conducting tracks. The ceramic plate and contact elements are mounted in the half shells before they are joined together so that no movement of the contact elements wrt. the conducting tracks occurs. USE/ADVANTAGE - For use in vehicle exhaust emission reduction. The arrangement ensures reliable contacting of the plate within severely limited space conditions.
