The combustion chamber (3) on the peripheral side is limited by a flame tube connecting to the diaphragm, to which fuel, together with prim. air is fed via the central diaphragm aperture (7). Sec. air issues into the flame tube via at least on inlet (10) downstream from the diaphragm (2) in the area of the surrounding flame tube walling for mixing to form a flame jet. The sec. air flow in the area of the surrounding walling of the flame tube issues in equal distribution on the periphery of the flame tube (1). A ring-shaped all-round secondary air inlet is provided. USE/ADVANTAGE - A soot-free burner for liq. fuel with low emission of harmful material.
