The i.c. engine (41) is mechanically coupled to a generator (50), both being surrounded on all sides by a cover which has ventilation openings for input and used air, and control and connection elements. The cover pref. has cap-type side parts (10,11) made of synthetic material. The side parts have separate tube-type input air guides (20) and ventilation slits (18) for the motor and generator.
