Rectangular casings of insulating board are clad on both sides with metal foil (12,13). L-shaped edging (16) is placed over the ends of the casings. A hairpin-shaped coupling strip has a rearward angled lip (21). Self-tapping bolts (23,27) secure the edging and coupling strip. An inner foil (13) extension is folded outwards over the L-shaped edging. Adjoining casings (A,B) are clamped together by sliding the C-shaped fastener (28) over the four coupling strips (21,21'). The spring packing (25) helps hold the fastener in place. Additional reinforcing plates are used to stiffen the ends of larger casings.
