PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic field regulating mechanism in which since the magnetic flux within each magnet can be changed, and the magnetic field intensity can also be regulated, customary regulation such as change in thickness and the like for each regulating member is eliminated, consequently regulating operations are facilitated, and the magnetic field can be regulated stepwise if only a magnetic substance with optimum magnetic field intensity is selected as required, so that the magnetic field can be regulated in a wide range with high accuracy. CONSTITUTION:Magnets 23 each magnetic direction of which is periodically changed, are arranged in such a way as to be faced to each other while the orbit 22 of the electron beam is being held, and the periodic magnetic field is applied to the aforesaid electron beam. In this case, a magnetic substance 25 is disposed to the far side 24 from the orbit 22 of the aforesaid electron beam for each magnet 23 in such a way as to be freely moved in the opposite magnet direction. |
