PURPOSE: To provide an electric connector assembly for terminating a multi-core cable. CONSTITUTION: An assembly comprises conductive guide members 22Ma, 22b having positioning channels for the conductors of a multi-core cable, and thereby, the conductors can be cutting arranged along the edges of the guide members. A cover member 24 is formed into such a shape as engaging with a conductor guide member so that one part of the cover member 24 covers the exposed portion of the cutting arranged conductors. A base member 26 is equipped with a large number of terminals, and when the base member is assembled to a cover member 24 together with the conductor guide member, its shape is formed so that the terminals are positioned so as to terminate respective conductors. The cover member 24 is arranged between the conductive guide members and the base member, and a large number of holes are provided so that the terminals pass through the same in order to terminate the conductors.
