Temp. sensor for solar collector with absorber - contains sensor body, chamfered sensing tip and clamping device

The arrangement contains a sensor body (12) and a sensing tip which defines the sensing position. A clamping device (16) coupled to the sensing body is used to attach the temp. sensor to the absorber (22). The sensing tip is chamfered to lie flat on the absorber and engages a niche (15) in the absorber. The clamping device is shaped to form a free space between the sensing body and absorber. USE/ADVANTAGE - The arrangement enables reliable accurate measurement of temp. at the desired position on the solar collector and is simple to mount securely.
