The stabilizing circuit for an oscillator prevents the noise or the abnormal waveform from applying to logic circuit with power on. The circuit comprises an oscillation circuit having an oscillating section (1) for generating the inverted rectangular wave and a buffer (2) for inverting and applying the output of the oscillating section, a noise detecting section (3) for detecting the unstabilized oscillation signal with an oscillation control signal (CS) and an oscillation output signal (OSCOUT), an oscillation voltage charging section (4) controlled by the noise detecting section, and a buffer control section (5) for controlling the buffer in response to the outputs of the oscillating section and the oscillation voltage charging section.
