<p>A fuel injector (10) for injecting gaseous fuel into an internal combusiton engine. The injector (10) includes an electromagnetic control valve (15) which controls the admission of actuation gas to a metering valve assembly (14). The metering valve (19) incorporates a positive mechanical stop to limit valve lift. The force to open the metering valve (19) is supplied by the actuation gas.</p> |
