The automatic gearbox intended especially for motor vehicles has an internally toothed gear pump (2) to supply a hydrodynamic converter (3), a lubrication device and control and actuation devices of the automatic gearbox via a number of control channels (18, 20, 21). The internally toothed gear pump (2) is driven at the rotation speed of a drive motor. The control channels (18, 20, 21) are arranged in two channel planes separated by a separating plate (15). The automatic gearbox is also fitted with a device for charging the internally toothed gear pump (2) which may, for example, be a flow rate control valve.
